Natural dyeing is a passion for me. Here I want to share some of my passion, and provide some sources of dyeing expertise, as well as summarize some lessons I've learned. My focus is those dyes that were available in the period, put I am also interested in those that are available locally.
There are few dye stuffs I won't work with. Those containing poisonous metals (cinnabar, orpiment, litharge) and those of species at risk (murex molluscs, lichens).
